Chris is a Chartered Fellow of IOSH, Director at A.C.T. (National) Ltd and the Vice Chair for the IOSH Sports Grounds and Events Group. He has over 14 years’ experience specialising in the event safety and fire safety sector. Having started off his working life in Agriculture and Equestrianism, Chris moved into safety consultancy in 2004, since then he has been the Group Head of Safety and Fire Safety for the NEC Group in Birmingham, MD of his own event safety company (ESP) which merged with A.C.T. in 2018. Chris has had the opportunity to work with some amazing clients and events from local community events, mass participation sporting events and international spectaculars both here in the U.K. and across the world. Chair for the IOSH Sports Grounds and Events Group from Dec 2018.

Business Development Manager, Cvent As Business Development Manager for Cvent, Tim has a wealth of knowledge on event technology and vast experience of event management software; focused on education, and implementation. From non-profits and associations, to major universities and corporations, including Oxford University, Duke University, UCL, WPM Education, Food and Agriculture Organization, Rothschild, NASA, U.S. Dept of Education, and the United States Air Force Academy, Tim has successfully helped countless organisations from around the world adopt new technology, aimed at streaming the planning process, as well as improving the delegate’s experience. Tim has frequently spoken at industry trade shows including, Rejuvinate in Atlanta, CHS in Leeds, and Event Tech Live, The Meeting Show, Event360, and Confex; all in London. He regularly hosts educational lunch seminars, speaking on enhancing the delegate experience via the use of technology and the benefits of adopting event management software.
